John H. Bryan is a West Virginia trial attorney who practices primarily in personal injury, family law, civil litigation, and criminal litigation.  He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in Melbourne, Florida.  He received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Central Florida, where he played football and was captain of the mock trial team.  He attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was awarded the Gressman-Pollitt Award for outstanding oral advocacy.

He has worked as an investigator of police misconduct for the Department of Justice, as a prosecutor in Raliegh North Carolina, as a criminal defense attorney in Durham North Carolina, and as a civil and criminal litigation attorney in West Virginia.  He lives in Union, West Virginia with his wife and son.
